Unique Stone Artifact "Box" - Or Clay Ironstone Concretion

It is actually what is known as a Clay Ironstone concretion, with the inner limonite part (hydrated hematite) dried out and shrunk, and the "box" part fractured (probably weather related) which created this box effect. This item was found in the Midwest along with other stone artifacts, so it was probably of great interest to prehistoric peoples as well.
