Offered in this lot is a Eddie Beyuka Zuni inlay bolo tie. This charming slide features a striking figural design crafted with intricate multistone inlay including turquoise, coral, shell, mother of pearl and more. Some of the stones are beautifully carved adding depth to the design which is further accented with silver rings and silver dots. The piece is completed with a black braided cord finished with sterling silver tips at the ends. A standout piece that would make a great addition to any collection. Bid now!
MAKER: Hallmarked EAB (stamped). Edward A. Beyuka (1921-2002; Zuni). He was the registered agent for the Zuni Craftsmen Cooperative Association (ZCCA).
APPROX AGE: Vintage (meaning somewhere between the 1930s to 1970s).
SIZE: The leather cord measures 40 inches overall including the tips. The slide measures 3 1/4 inches wide x 5 1/4 inches tall and the tips measure 2 1/4 inches long. The total weight for this item is 75.7 grams with most of the cord off the scale.
CONDITION: Good for its age with normal wear and minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
