Available here for your consideration is a G.S. Garcia Eagle bit with G.S. Garcia headstall. A black leather headstall with floral carving and silver conchos carry the Eagle bit, which is fully covered with fine silver overlay. A rare and great headstall and bit for your collection of western tack, bid now!
MAKER: G.S. GARCIA MAKER ELKO, NEV. Guadalupe S. Garcia was born in Sonora, Mexico and later moved to Santa Margarita, California. He opened his shop in 1882 and relocated to Elko, Nevada in 1894.Garcia became famous for his high quality saddles and his most famous was one that won gold medals at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair and at The Lewis And Clark Exposition in Portland, Oregon. Garcia Saddlery was purchased in 1978 by The J.M. Capriola Company. 
APPROX AGE: Circa early 1900s.
SIZE: The mouth measures 5 inches wide and the bit is 8 inches long overall on the cheeks. The headstall appears to be a pretty standard size to fit many horses.
CONDITION: Average to good for their age with normal wear and minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
