Offered here for your consideration is a large historic Tohono O'odham pot. This is a very large pot by the Sonoran people, the Tohono O'odham (Papago), that was made to be used and not for decoration. It was likely a vessel for storage of grain or other perishable items. Large, unpolished and undecorated it has withstood the test of time. Bid now to add this large old pottery jar to your collection!

MAKER: Unknown Tohono O'odham potter.
APPROX AGE: Historic Period (likely 1800s)
SIZE: 15 inches x 15 inches. 
CONDITION: As found with some restoration expected. This pot has not been subjected to a black light or any other tests, other than visual by us, so the extent of any possible restoration is unknown. Buyer is responsible for determining this to their satisfaction before bidding. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
