Offered here for your consideration is an antique pipe tomahawk. This is a hand forged pipe tomahawk with a wood stem that has an interesting grain and three button rivets on each side. It also has a feather on a cord. Long used as a gift of diplomacy by government officials, the pipe tomahawk was a favorite gift to bestow upon important Native American leaders during times of settlement. SIZE: Tomahawk blade measures approximately 6 1/2 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches tall. Pipe stem measures approximately 17 1/2 inches long x 1 inch.
