Offered here for your consideration are a Santa Clara melon pot and a miniature. The melon pot is nicely carved with 24 ribs and a beautiful polished red slip. The small pot is decorated in a classic feather design around the body.

PROVENANCE: From the Crosby Collection.
MAKER: Melon pot signed Angela Baca. Angela Tafoya Baca (Santa Clara, 1927-2014). Small pot signed Mary Gutierrez. (Mary Talachy Gutierrez, Pojoaque Pueblo, 1941-2018).
APPROX AGE: Fairly Modern (meaning 1980s or newer). 
SIZE: This melon pot measures 5 inches x 3 1/2 inches. The miniature measures 2 inches x 2 inches.
CONDITION: Average to good for their age with normal wear and minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regard to condition.
HANDLING: There will be a $10 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot.
