Offered here for your consideration is an Eagle Dancer bronze by Sammie Walker. Born into the Navajo Deer Water Clan, the artist began carving Kachina dolls at age 8 and has continued to improve his craft. Here the artist produced a  bronze Eagle Dancer Kachina. The eagle represents strength and functions as an intermediary between the spirit world and this world. This bronze displays fantastic detail with the eagle wing feathers being lifelike and the decorations and symbols on the dancer's costume formed exquisitely. APPROX AGE: Fairly Modern (meaning 1980s or newer).
SIZE: This bronze measures approximately 19 1/2 inches tall x 16 inches wide x 10 inches from front to back. 
CONDITION: Good for its age with normal wear and minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
HANDLING: There will be a $20 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot.
