Offered here for your consideration is a vintage Apache jingle dress. Complete with blouse, skirt, a shoulder cover and lots and lots of jingles made of tin. Sewn from bright red, yellow and black cloth, this nicely decorated and loud garment says "look at me"! Originating with the Ojibwa, who first used it in healing ceremonies, the jingle dress spread through North America. APPROX AGE: Vintage (meaning somewhere between 1930s to 1970s). 
SIZE: All measurements are approximate: Blouse - 15 inches armpit to armpit and 21 inches shoulder to hem, Shoulder cover - 17 inches from neck to bottom of jingles, and Skirt - 13 inches across waist and 24 inches from waist to hem.
CONDITION: Average to good for its age with normal wear and minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
