Offered here for your consideration is "Mr. and Mrs. Kokopelli" by Fred Koruh. Finely carved from wood this Kachina depicts "Mr. Kokopelli" on one side and "Mrs. Kolopelli" on the other. One side can be removed to reveal a more graphic depiction on the inside. Very nicely carved and decorated on a wood base signed by the artist, this would make a very attractive addition to your home decor or Kachina collection. Bid today!
PROVENANCE: New Old Stock (NOS) from a Native Arts and Crafts store in Pinetop /Lakeside, AZ area that is no longer in business.
MAKER: Fred Koruh (Hopi).
APPROX AGE: Fairly Modern (meaning 1980s or newer).
SIZE: Measures approximately 4 1/2 inches tall x 2 inches across the base.
CONDITION: Very good for its age, normal wear and minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
