Offered here for your consideration is a 1977 oil on board painting by Henry De Keukelaere. A Native American woman dressed in decorated buckskin stands on parched land with a longhorn skull at her feet and rows of young corn plants to either side. She holds a medicine bundle above her head that is framed by a darkening moon. Against the night sky background, the artist has painted a huge white cloud rushing out from the land, and the leading edge of that cloud contains the fierce heads of a bear, a cougar, a lynx and a wolf. A colorful painting evoking mystery and spirit that would look very nice on your wall. Bid now!
