For your bidding pleasure is a Sharps "Old Reliable" rifle in .50 Caliber. This rifle has a conversion action, double set triggers, a half round - half octagon barrel (possibly turned down by a frontier gunsmith?) a large globe front sight with an adjustable rear sight and standard  metal butt plate. The wood forend and stock do show signs of wear and the barrel does have some pitting. But overall, the rifle is in good condition, and the action and triggers function properly. ***This firearm will NOT require an FFL transfer *****
MAKER:  Sharps (and likely modified by a frontier gunsmith to be in its current configuration).
APPROX AGE:  Antique - Circa 1870s. Serial number: C 48657.
SIZE: The barrel measures 25.5 inches. This weapon is a .50 caliber rifle.
CONDITION: Pretty good for its age, normal wear expected. This weapon has not been test fired by us. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regard to the condition.
