Offered here for your consideration is a Winchester Model 1885 chambered in .45 Express. This is a single shot rifle with wood forend and wood stock. The forend and stock do show signs of wear, as do the frame and barrel, but overall the rifle is in really good condition for its age. These rifles were designed by John Moses Browning and made by Winchester. It Is a single shot falling block action rifle which is an ANTIQUE and therefore does not require an FFL Transfer.
MAKER: Winchester.
APPROX AGE: Circa 1885. Serial No.: 17705
SIZE: The barrel measures 27.5 inches. This is a .45 express caliber rifle.
CONDITION: Pretty good for its age, wear expected. This weapon has not been test fired and it is recommended a competent gunsmith look at it before attempting to do so. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regard to the condition.
