Presented here for your consideration is a vintage Pima basket with Dragging and Coyote designs. This basket is highlighted with a magnificent dragging and coyote track design done in brown and tan. The Pima (Akimel O'Odham), who reside in central and southern Arizona, produced magnificent baskets with meaningful designs and patterns. Their finely-coiled baskets are made of cattail or bear grass foundation and closely stitched with willow and devil's claw (for designs). SIZE: This basket measures approximately 2 1/4 inches deep x 11 1/2 inches in diameter.
