Available here for your consideration are two Navajo textiles by Marie Begay. These two textiles offer great designs that would adorn your home perfectly! One is bright with yellow, green, black, brown, white, red, and gray colors. It is woven in a great banded pattern with alternating rows of simple solid lines and rows with diamond shaped designs. The other is a Twill weave with subdued with reds, white, yellow, and black wools in a diamond pattern. Navajo weavings (blankets and rugs) are thought to be some of the most colorful and best-made textiles produced by North American Natives. They are sought after by textile collectors and Native American art collectors alike. Bid now and try to make these great textiles yours!
MAKER: One textile is tagged the The Deer Dancer Indian Arts and states the the weaver is Marie Begay. The other has a tag from the Coyote Canyon Trading Post from Brimhall, NM and states Marie Begay is the artist.
APPROX AGE: Fairly Modern (meaning 1980s or newer). 
SIZE: One textile measures 17 3/8 inches wide x 36 5/8 inches long. The larger textile measures 30 3/4 inches wide x 44 inches long. 
CONDITION: Good for their age, normal wear and minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
HANDLING: There will be a $10 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot.
SHIPPING: The actual cost of postage will be added on top of the handling charges.
