Offered here for your consideration is an extremely rare concho belt by Eveli Sabatie. This exquisite concho belt features a dramatic buckle with a large koshare created with pipestone, agate, sugilite, lapis, and other materials, with silver accents. Koshare is a sacred clown of the Hopi, one that you're likely to see at ceremonies. He is one of several clowns, which are sometimes called jesters or tricksters. He is a powerful figure and important to the community. The belt has four hinge link conchos, each hinge link section has seven to eight pipestone settings resting in smooth silver bezels with a raised silver diamond design throughout. The connecting links each feature a green agate cabochon in the center of an oval inlay created with pipestone and silver and one with sugilite, agate and pipestone with sections of silver. We have searched and have not come across a concho belt by Eveli Sabatie that is on the market or has been sold. This unique and very RARE, heavy sterling silver and multi stone inlay concho belt with an amazing buckle is definitely for the serious collector or museum. Get this one of a kind piece today!
