The first bolo slide features one turquoise cabochon resting in a smooth silver bezel with unique silverwork displayed on a darkened silver background. The second bolo slide features two turquoise cabochons resting in smooth silver bezels displayed on darkened silver background. The settings are surrounded by coiled and twisted wire, silver dots, and floral and leaf appliques with nice filework lines on the edges of the slide. These bolos are each on a braided black cord with silver tips. The first bolo also has matching dangles with one turquoise cabochon in a smooth silver bezel on a darkened silver background accented with silverwork. These are unique bolos! MAKER: The first slide is hallmarked AY (stamped). Albert Yazzie (1954-; Navajo). The second slide is hallmarked TC (stamped). Thomas Charlie (1952-; Navajo). Active since 1970s.

SIZE: The first leather cord measures approximately 40 inches overall including the tips. The slide measures 2 1/8 inches long by 1 3/8 inches wide, and tips measure 2 inches long. The dangles measure 5/8 inches wide at the widest point x 1 inch long. The second leather cord measures approximately 38 inches overall including the tips. The slide measures 2 3/8 inches long by 1 3/8 inches wide, and the tips measure 2 1/4 inches long. The total weight for this item is 105.5 grams.
