Offered here for your consideration is a group of vintage collar tips, buttons, etc. The jewelry incorporates unique turquoise and sterling silver designs and patterns. Included in this group are a sweater guard, two sets of buttons, two miscellaneous buttons, one set of collar tips, a barrette, and a small belt buckle. The collar tips feature bump outs and hand stamped designs. One set of buttons and the concho feature turquoise cabochons resting in smooth silver bezels, with accents of flattened silver dots, and hand stamped designs. The barrette features hand stamped designs. And the sweater guard has deep hand stamped floral designs with a handmade chain and silver findings. Provenance - from the Blair family estate who owned the Red Mesa and Kayenta Trading Posts on the Navajo reservation dating back to the first half of the 1900s.
MAKER: The barrette is hallmarked UI arrow head TA (stamped). See the picture for more detail.
APPROX AGE: Vintage (meaning somewhere between 1930s and 1970s).
SIZE: Varying sizes. The collar tips measure approximately 3/4 inch across at the widest point x 3 1/4 inch long. The barrette measures 5/8 inch across at the widest point x 4 inches long. The buttons measure 1 1/2 inch wide at the widest point x 1 1/2 inch long. The lot weighs 244.8 grams.
